My Story

In 2016, I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. I originally gained my experience as an educator working with students in the primary grade levels. 

​

In 2017, I made my way to South Korea as an English teacher, it was the best time of my life as I integrated into South Korean culture and education for 2 years. I moved forward from Korea with nothing but love and compassion in my heart for the culture, language and it's people. South Korea will forever be my home away from home.

In 2019, I returned to the United States and continued to gain my experience as an educator teaching English Language Arts for 3 more years.

Finally in 2022, I decided to take the leap of faith and follow my purpose by sharing my passion in molding the body, mind and soul. I finally realized my true purpose of happiness and dove in further to learn about the fitness, nutrition and spirituality. It's amazing how all three work together.

I have been on my fitness journey for 10 years now. As someone who struggled with weight most of my life, I never gave up and continued this journey in health and fitness. Over the years with time and patience, I learned how to lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle and still continuing to learn. Now I am here to share my knowledge, teach others and learn even further about  how to transform not just bodies but also the mind and soul. I believe that all three go hand in hand. 

In Health and Moderation

What exactly is "In Health and Moderation"? It's a balance and a lifestyle. With all the dieting fads that we see surrounding us in social media, we forget to find the balance in exercise, the food choices we make and over all our mental health. I am here to here to help you build a healthy relationship with your food, fitness goals, mind and body.  I speak in health and moderation because life is not about advertising the perfect diet and acting like you have never steered off of your meal plan. It is important to make good food choices that energize you and make you feel good. Then every now and then allowing yourself that treat you have been wanting.  In Health and moderation you choose a clean diet filled with whole ingredients like organic fruits and vegetables, proteins fats and carbs. You learn how to manipulate those foods and create dishes that are not just good for you but look and taste good. My goal is to help you build a healthy relationship with your food, fitness, mind, body and soul. It's all about balance.
